WVC&R also offers a free e-waste drop-off site where residents can drop off items such as computer monitors, TVs, water-based paints, motor oil, and fluorescent bulbs. Please contact WVC&R’s Customer Service at 408-283-9250 to make an appointment for drop off.
How can I dispose of propane cylinders?
The safest way for residents to dispose of their propane cylinders and other Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) materials is by appointment only through Santa Clara County’s program. Please set up an appointment using HHW.org or call 408-299-7300 to request a call from a representative.
What can I do with my leftover paint/fertilizer/pool chemicals?
WVC&R offers a free drop-off site for e-waste items such as water based-paints, computer monitors, motor oil, batteries, and fluorescent bulbs at our Material Recovery Facility at 625 Charles Street in San Jose. Please contact WVC&R’s Customer Service at 408-283-9250 to make an appointment.
